Do I need Pilates experience to join?Not at all! Our classes cater to all levels, from complete beginners to experienced practitioners. Instructors will guide you through the exercises and offer modifications or progressions as needed.

What should I wear?Wear comfy, form-fitting workout clothes so you can move freely and safely. Grippy socks are recommended for stability and hygiene, we have different styles of our own brand available for purchase at the studio.

How long is each class?Classes typically run for 50 minutes, please arrive 10 minutes early if it’s your first visit.

How many people are in a class?We keep our group classes small, with a maximum of 8 people. This ensures everyone gets personalised attention and guidance from the instructor while still enjoying the motivation of a group setting.

How do I book a class?You can book through our online website or our mobile app. We only accept bookings made in advance to secure your spot, as class sizes are limited to 8 people.

What’s your cancellation policy?You can cancel your class through our online booking system or mobile app. 24 hours or more before class: You’ll receive a full refund. Less than 24 hours before class: The class fee will not be refunded or transferred.

Do you offer private sessions?Yes! We offer private sessions for individuals(1:1) or duets(1:2) who want a fully tailored to your goals and pace. We also offer classes in different languages. Drop us a WhatsApp or send us a DM/Email to arrange a time that works for you.

Where are you located, and is parking available?We’re located at 1st, 98 - 100 Hospital Street, Birmingham, B19 3QP. There are plenty of free street parking spaces around the studio, as well as a few car park close to us with reasonable price.

What if I’m running late for class?To keep classes running safely and without disruption, we’re unable to admit anyone arriving late. Unfortunately, missed sessions can’t be refunded or transferred, thank you for understanding and helping us create the best experience for everyone. If you’re unwell and can provide a doctor’s note, or have had an accident with proof please let our team know. We’ll look at each situation individually, we’re human, and we want every client to feel supported and cared for.

Do you offer NHS or student discounts?Yes — we offer a 10% discount for NHS staff and students. To receive it, just email us your proof (NHS ID or student card), and we’ll send you a personal promo code. Please note this discount does not apply to introductory offers.

Can I join classes if I’m pregnant?We welcome pregnant clients to our group classes up to 22 weeks, provided you are not a complete beginner and have prior Pilates experience. Please consult your doctor before joining any class. For those who are new to Pilates, we recommend starting with private sessions rather than group classes, so we can tailor exercises safely to your needs. If you are pregnant and looking to join group classes or private sessions with us, we recommend booking with Marlize or Hermione, as they are fully qualified in teaching pre- and postnatal Pilates. Your comfort and safety are our priority — please stop immediately if you experience any discomfort. Participation is at your own discretion and responsibility.

What is Reformer Pilates?Reformer Pilates is a low-impact, full-body workout performed on a spring-based machine. It builds strength, improves flexibility, and enhances balance through controlled, resistance-based movements that target muscles you didn’t even know you had, perfect for developing strong, lean muscles. It also supports performance in other sports and helps you move through everyday life with more ease and confidence.

Is Reformer Pilates safe during pregnancy?Yes, with modifications and your doctor’s clearance. We offer prenatal-friendly exercises and recommend booking a private session before joining group classes. However, if you are nearing your due date, we do not recommend attending classes. Prenatal classes will be launching soon!

Can I do Reformer Pilates if I have an injury?Many people also use Pilates as part of their rehabilitation journey. If that’s the case for you, we kindly ask that you consult your healthcare provider beforehand and let your instructor know at the start of class, so we can adapt the exercises to support your needs and keep you safe.

How often should I attend to see results?We recommend 2–3 classes per week for noticeable improvements in strength, posture, and flexibility.

What’s the difference between Mat Pilates and Reformer Pilates?While Mat Pilates relies on your body weight, Reformer Pilates uses springs and a sliding carriage to provide adjustable resistance. This adds variety, challenges your muscles in new ways, and offers support for more advanced movements, making it excellent for building strength, improving flexibility, and even aiding rehabilitation.
